Abstract

 AbstractThe research aims to develop interactive learning media on desktop-based computer hardware. This type of research is ADDIE research and development model. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 7 Pontianak with the subject of the research being the XA grade students of the TKJ Department. Data collection uses interviewing techniques, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Data collection tools using interview guides, questionnaires, observation guidelines, and documents related to learning. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results of the study are (1) Analysis. The analysis carried out are: Subject Analysis Introduction of Computer Hardware Components; User Analysis; Material and Media Analysis; and Analysis of Facilities and Infrastructure; (2) Design. The designs carried out are Material Design; GBIM design; Storyboard; and Flowchart; (3) Develop. The developed learning media contains text, sound, and images using the programming language Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Office Access 2017 as a database application; (4) Implement. The learning media developed were applied to 20 students of class XA of the TKJ Department of SMK Negeri 7 Pontianak, and (5) Evaluate. The results of the validation of the material and media experts on the learning media developed were in the "Very Good" category and the students' responses to the learning media were in the "Very Good" category. Based on the results of the validation and response of the students, it was concluded that the interactive learning media Hardware The computer is declared valid and is suitable for use in the learning process.
