Abstract

Abstract— When student learning styles are known, teaching can be designed according to student interests through teaching strategies, teaching methods and techniques, and selecting and implementing the necessary teaching tools.This study aims to study the learning styles of vocational students using the Forster learning model and this learning style learning towards mathematics learning achievement. Researchers investigated vocational student mathematics learning styles using the questionnaire "How Do I Aim for Learning?" developed by Forster. Using screening models and research methods quantitative data were collected. The data that has been collected from the instrument containing questions related to students' mathematics learning styles are then processed using SPSS, analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Descriptive statistics were used to view participant demographics and an overview of the scores for each learning style, while one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted to assess differences in mathematics learning styles among students based on mathematics scores. The results showed that no relationship was found between learning styles reflektif, inquisitive, diligent and user using a questionnaire developed by Foster and the students' mathematics scores.
